These stainless steel (US32D) hinges come with
loose pins standard, button tips and are swaged.
The plain bearing version gives good service with
standard door weight and frequency of opening,
while the ball bearing model offers greater durability
in heavier service. Stainless steel presents good
long term appearance and operation even in seashore
and other corrosive environments.
The hinges on this page are precisely like the
1279 series except for some slight variations
in finishes. In other details, such as pin diameter
and length, gauge of metal, drilling, counter-sinking
and knuckle size, shape and number the hinges
are identical and fit the same templates.
Available in stainless steel ball and plain bearing
with loose or fixed pin.
Fixed pins are noted with an N suffix.
4 1/2" hinges are packed with all machine
screws and half wood screws. 3, 3 1/2 and 4"
hinges are packed all wood screws.
